1. Overview

AllPic is a local-first image tools product. We care about user privacy and design AllPic around a simple principle: process images locally, do not upload user images, and do not track users.

This Privacy Policy applies to the AllPic iOS App. For the AllPic Website, please see the Web Privacy Policy.

2. Our Core Principles

  • No account registration is required.
  • No login is required.
  • We do not actively collect personal information.
  • We do not upload images, videos, or files selected by users.
  • We do not use cloud AI to process user images.
  • We do not use advertising tracking.
  • We do not sell user data.
  • We do not share user images or personal content with third parties.
  • Image processing, recognition, editing, and export features are designed to run locally on the device or in the browser whenever possible.

3. Personal Data We Do Not Collect

The current version of AllPic does not actively collect, upload, or store the following data:

  • User name;
  • Phone number;
  • Email address;
  • Precise location;
  • Contacts;
  • Original user photos;
  • Edited user images;
  • Exported user files;
  • Text recognized from user images;
  • Image metadata from user files;
  • Identifiers used to track users across apps or websites.

The AllPic iOS App does not currently create user accounts and does not maintain its own user database.

4. How Images and Files Are Processed

When users select images, take photos, import files, or import images from the clipboard in AllPic, those files are used only to complete the image processing tasks selected by the user, such as:

  • Image compression;
  • Image resizing;
  • Crop and rotation;
  • Format conversion;
  • EXIF / metadata removal;
  • Screenshot redaction;
  • Image annotation;
  • Watermarking;
  • Image to PDF conversion;
  • OCR text recognition;
  • Local portrait, background, or document-related processing;
  • Batch workflow processing;
  • Exporting processed results.

These operations are performed locally on the user’s device or in the user’s browser. AllPic does not upload selected images to AllPic servers and does not send user images to third-party servers for processing.

5. Permissions Used by the AllPic iOS App

5.1 Photo Library Permission

When users choose to import images from the photo library or save processed results back to the photo library, AllPic may request photo-related permissions.

These permissions are used only to select images chosen by the user, read images explicitly selected by the user, and save processed results to the photo library. AllPic does not scan the user’s photo library in the background and does not upload photo library content.

5.2 Camera Permission

When users use the camera feature, AllPic may request camera permission to take a photo the user wants to process and import it into the current workflow.

AllPic does not access the camera unless the user actively uses a camera-related feature.

5.3 File Access

When users import images from Files or export files, AllPic uses the system file picker to access files explicitly selected by the user.

AllPic can only access files selected by the user and does not scan other files on the device.

5.4 Clipboard Access

When users actively choose to import an image from the clipboard, AllPic may read image content from the clipboard.

AllPic does not continuously read the clipboard when the user has not chosen to use this feature.

7. Data Stored Locally

To help users continue previous work, the AllPic iOS App may store the following data locally on the user’s device:

  • Recent processing history;
  • Local editing projects;
  • User-created or saved workflows;
  • Tool settings and preferences;
  • App settings;
  • Local display state for Pro entitlement.

This data is stored locally on the user’s device and is not uploaded to AllPic servers. Users can delete related history, projects, or settings inside the App, or delete the App to remove locally stored data.

8. OCR, Local Recognition, and Local AI

AllPic may use Apple system capabilities, browser capabilities, device-local models, or small local models bundled with the App to perform text recognition, face detection, QR code recognition, barcode recognition, image analysis, or similar processing.

These recognition results are used only for the feature selected by the user, such as extracting text from images, creating searchable PDFs, detecting areas that may need privacy redaction, or recommending suitable image tools and workflows.

AllPic does not use cloud AI to process user images. User images are not uploaded to AllPic servers when using local AI or intelligent processing features.

Some local AI or intelligent processing features may vary depending on device performance, image quality, system version, browser capabilities, and model support.

9. Purchases and Pro Entitlement

The AllPic iOS App may offer AllPic Pro or other premium features. Purchases are handled by Apple App Store and StoreKit.

AllPic does not access or store payment card numbers, payment passwords, billing addresses, or similar payment information.

To determine whether a user has Pro entitlement, AllPic may use Apple StoreKit to obtain purchase status, transaction status, or entitlement status. Transaction and payment information is handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.

Refunds, billing history, and purchase management should be handled through Apple App Store or the user’s Apple ID account.

10. Third-Party Services and SDKs

The current version of the AllPic iOS App does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, third-party user behavior tracking SDKs, or third-party cloud image processing services.

AllPic may use Apple official frameworks and local system capabilities, such as photo selection, camera, file picker, StoreKit, Vision, Core Image, and PDF-related capabilities.

If product functionality or third-party dependencies change, we will update this Privacy Policy before release and update App Store privacy information accordingly.

11. Advertising and Tracking

The current version of the AllPic iOS App does not display third-party ads, does not use advertising tracking, and does not track users across apps or websites.

AllPic does not sell, rent, or trade user data.

12. Children’s Privacy

AllPic is intended for general users and is not specifically directed to children.

AllPic does not actively collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes that local data generated by a child while using AllPic should be removed, they can delete related projects on the device or delete the App.

13. Data Retention and Deletion

Because the current version of AllPic does not create user accounts and does not upload user images or personal content to servers, AllPic servers do not store user images, account profiles, or processing records for deletion.

Users can delete local data by:

  • Deleting history or projects inside the App;
  • Deleting exported files;
  • Clearing related settings;
  • Deleting the AllPic App;

After deleting the App, the operating system usually removes data associated with the App. Exported files saved separately to Photos, Files, or other locations must be deleted by the user in those locations.

14. User Permission Control

Users can manage AllPic permissions at any time through iOS system settings, including Photos and Camera permissions.

If a user does not grant a permission, related features may not work, but AllPic will not prevent the user from using other features that do not depend on that permission.

15. Data Security

AllPic uses a local-first design to reduce data transfer and external dependencies. User images, processed results, and project data are stored locally on the user’s device or in the user’s browser by default.

Users should still protect their devices, photo library, files, browser environment, and exported results, and avoid sharing images or files containing sensitive information with untrusted parties.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy based on product changes, legal requirements, or App Store review requirements.

If this Privacy Policy changes materially, we will update the effective date on this page and, when necessary, notify users through in-app pages or release notes.
